Melvin

Melvin Kelvin as he was affectionately known by his parents, was obsessed with the temperature of light. He gravitated toward the cooler-colored end of the spectrum, believing tungsten and daylight to be shades of the past. A man of halogens and fluorescents by conviction, he felt it an obligation, nay, divine ordination, to sing their praises in the streets, always at night, beneath a green or blue hue, so he didn’t have to wear temperature sunglasses in public during the day.
